Yo ! its been a while since i updated this blog..
Dusty much ! Anyway its almost a month that i started my second semester and Alhamdulilah its been great..
I have to face a lot of challenges in this new semester... New assignment and of course new drama !
Nevertheless , Insyaalah.. with the help of Allah i will get through it to pursue my dream in the legal field !
owh yeah, i never did mentioned that i'm taking law courses.. Well i am, i dont know why but i really do love
law.. I have the passion for it.. and i'm grateful for that.. Its a common thing, that is do the thing that you like.
. thing that make your heart ponder every time you do it.. That's me when i'm studying about law... :)
Anyway, i'm running of topic am i ? what is the title above and law thing have to do with each other ?
Okay.. i'm moving in to my real topic here... Recently like yesterday, my older brother just got engaged to
some girl.. Hmmmm.. Daaaaaaaaaaa.. of course la girl.. my brother is not a gay ok ! He's just 21.. and now
he's getting engaged ? Man ..that's early ! To me it is early.. especially in this modern world nowadays..
Personally, i didn't think that engagement is a big deal well.. its only an engagement not marriage ! So i didn't
really take part in all the planning and decoration of "barang hantaran" etc... Plus i even wanted to go back
home on Saturday but my mother wont allowed it.. because she said " Its your bro's engagement you know !
Dont you have to help with something ?" Help what ?? I mean i know i have to help with feast and all that ..
Come on that's not a new thing to me... Anyway.. as i said an engagement is not really a big deal for me.. In
islam also didn't mentioned about engagement.. its only a malay custom.. And in Islam is not proper to be
engaged with someone for too long... It can lead to many kind of bad thing..
Let me tell you about the chaotic day of yesterday.. As my brother is the oldest and as he is the ONLY
SON in my family.. All of my relatives came to help out thiss "BIG" event.. Even my grandmother, She came
all the way from Bahau for this occasions .. I really appreciate that.. I missed her too... The event started after
zohor.. around 2'o'clock or something... We went to my future sister in-law's house by car.. (Daaaaaaaa) Its
like a convo.. because we went there with nine cars.. All of my relatives joined.. It was cool...
As we reached there, my brother stayed in the car for in engagement the groom are not necessary to come in.. After the old people talk.. They've decided to hold the engagement for one year.. and after that insyaalah marriage..is on their way...

Deep down in my heart i gotta admit that I really glad.. that my brother got engaged.. Its shows that he's really sincere to her.. Proud of him ! After that, a lot of my friends asked me .. when would be time that i will get engaged.. wanna know my answer ? I said NEVER for i think engagement is a waste of money, time and stressful.. I'm not looking forward for an engagement.. i'm looking for a stronger bond.. the one that cannot be broken easily.. MARRIAGE .. freak out yet ?
Engagement.. they said that is a like a booking ticket to that particular woman.. Its like that woman is on the way to be married to someone,.. In simple language.. COP THAT woman..so that no other guy can have her.. To me.. that's just not true for your life mate or soul mate is determined by ALLAH.. If you were meant to be with someone .. You wont need any engagement , That someone will be yours for sure.. And if its not.. It will never be.. and never meant to be.. So that's why i'm little bias about this engagement thing. ..
Owh yeah.. i've been thinking.. my marriage, there wouldn't be any "persandingan" or what so ever.. because in my opinion .. marriage is not about the clothes , venue or expensive souvenier.. its just an "akad nikah" . Its just one simple and yet powerful sentence that your future hubby will say on that special day of yours.. In fact, i think i'm gonna get married in Tok Kadi's office.. much more simple.. and save budget and less pressure..
Pressure..., I mean .. the wedding planning, what to wear ? where's the venue ? And a lot relative's will nag if anything is not according to place.. Man.. that'll be torture.. Dont you think that wedding should be the time to be happy and stress free ? Well i am.. so that'smy opinion.. Like in secret garden movie.. the hero and heroin got married in a Marriage Department only.., no fancy dress, or expensive food.. Just that.. and yet they lived happily.. maybe its just a drama but i wanted like that.. Insyaalah... :)
